The primary
mission of the G-LIB program is to deliver quality global business education to
a diverse undergraduate minority student population (commonly represented by
the first-generation college students) with a goal of improving and
strengthening the students’ retention, progression and graduation. Through
innovative instruction, mentoring, applied research, student and faculty
development, and community involvement; the program will develop global
business graduates so that they can compete effectively in all public and
private sectors.

2. Critical Thinking: The student will be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skill, and knowledge for career options in GLIB.
3. Ethical Reasoning: The student will be able to demonstrate ethical decision making skills in global business environments.
4. Cultural Diversity: The student will be able to identify and understand accounting issues in a global environment and will demonstrate an understanding of diversity and multiculturalism in a business context.
5. Teamwork: The student will be able to learn the challenges and best practices of team dynamics, international business consulting, and prepare to lead and manage teams.
